At installation
• Fitted by a trained, accredited installer — no DIY, no guesswork.
• Typically completed in [X hours], while you wait or as a drop-off.
• Proximity is calibrated to your specific vehicle and phone and saved inside GuardKey.
• Full handover before you leave: app setup, first connection and a run-through of every feature.
How the app and GuardKey work together
• GuardKey lives in your vehicle; the GuardKey app (iOS and Android) lives on your phone.
• Your phone and GuardKey are securely bonded — GuardKey only responds to your authorised devices.
• On first connection you enter your PIN. From then on, Face ID connects you instantly.
• Every command between the two is AES-256 encrypted.
• Your vehicle’s settings, name and calibration are stored and restored automatically each time you connect. Day to day
• Walk away — your vehicle is armed automatically.
• Walk back — GuardKey recognises you and is ready to go.

• Need a break? Pause protection for servicing, or use the 5-second pause for remote start.
• Phone flat or forgotten? Use your private passkey on the override button.
• All you need to do is keep your phone with you and Bluetooth on.

Why it’s easier with GuardKey
• One visit, done. Purchase, installation, calibration and setup in a single appointment.
• No fobs, keypads or button sequences. Your phone is the key; your face is the password.
• Calibrated to your vehicle. Proximity is set by a professional, not guessed, so it works reliably from day one.
Our user manual also instructs you on how to calibrate the proximity feature yourself.
• Set and forget. GuardKey runs quietly in the background and fits your routine instead of changing it.
• Local support. Your installer is your first point of contact, backed by an Australian-designed product and team.
• Better value. Less than comparable imported systems when installed.
