GuardKey is an Australian-designed and manufactured immobiliser that gives you digital authority over your vehicles electrical system. GuardKey was developed to be a true vehicle antitheft counter measure for early and late model vehicles and isn’t limited by vehicles with CANbus or accelerator pedals with sensors. GuardKey’s objective is to provide affordable capability, convenience and security for everyone.
Everyone gets access to the same features – no extra cost – no conditions. To achieve this, GuardKey immobilises your vehicle at the hardware level, operating independently of the vehicle’s own network where thieves can’t reach it. Living with it takes no effort. There’s no fob to carry, no keypad and no button sequence to remember. Your phone is the key, and your face is the password. Every command between GuardKey and your phone is protected by AES-256 encryption and secure device bonding. To achieve absolute convenience, your GuardKey app can function in the background while your phone is locked. GuardKey was developed by a professional team of passionate car enthusiast and certified by an independent, Australian based laboratory. The hardware is built to survive Australian conditions:

Features
GuardKey pairs automotive-grade hardware with an app built for real life. At its core is a a Bluetooth Low Energy system-on-chip with an integrated antenna. It has a range of up to 30 metres and draws less than 20 mA, so it won’t drain your battery. Most immobilisers make you change your routine. GuardKey fits around it. An accredited installer fits and calibrates it, and it costs less once installed than comparable imported systems.

How to get

Step 1 → Find an accredited installer
GuardKey is sold and fitted exclusively through our network of accredited installers and distributors. Find your nearest installer here, tell them your vehicle’s make and model, and book a time that suits you. Your installer will confirm compatibility and provide an all-inclusive quote.
Step 2 → Professional installation and calibration
Your installer fits GuardKey discreetly — nothing visible on the dash, nothing to give it away. They then calibrate Walkaway to your vehicle, so it knows when you’re near and when you’ve left. Before you leave, they’ll help
you download the GuardKey app, connect your phone and walk you through how it works.
Step 3 → Walk away protected
That’s it. From now on, GuardKey arms as you walk away and is ready when you return. No buttons, nothing to remember.
Overwatch gives you extra protection if you feel your phone may be at a higher risk of being stolen.
